Boys
 
400 Metres Final
 
As assumed the gold medal goes to Christopher Clarke GBR 46.74 s. The second place is a surprise although Kirani James GRN improved his PB again to 46.96 s. The third place belongs to Vladimir Krasnov RUS 47.03. There is a dissapointment for the only one USA finalist. Danzell Fortson run only 48.13, Hendrik Maartens RSA was disqualified for a false start (162.7).
 
400 Metres Hurdles 1st Round
 
No surprise at all. Both the USA competitors passed through. Reginald Wyatt with no problem but William Wayne only by the time. Together 18 PB were broken during the 1st round.  
 
800 Metres Final
 
The winner Geoffrey Kibet KEN ran under 1:50 as the only one - 1:49.99. The second place belongs to Ali Al-Deraan KSA 1:50.10, Amine El-Manaoui had to run PB 1:50.12 for the bronze medal. One of the favorite Dylan Ferris USA took the eight place.
 
2000 Metres Steeplechase Boys Final
First time, when the Kenian suverenity was broken by Legese Lamiso ETH 5:30.81, (WYL). Silver medal goes to Kenya by Kosgei Kitu 5:32.88 and bronze medal took Abdellah Dacha MAR 5:34.49. All three competitors and also other five from the final improved their PB
 
Long Jump Final
 
Japanese jumpers took gold and silver. The winner Yasumichi Konishi JPN jumped 7.52, the second Daisuke Yoshiyama 7.32, Christian Taylor USA finished third thanks to PB 7.29. One of the favorites Tarik Batchelor JAM finished dissapointed seventh - 7.09 what is more than a half meter shorter than his this SB.
 
Hammer Throw Final
 
The biggest favorite Andriy Martynyuk UKR 76.09 confirmed his form and took the gold. Daniel Szabó HUN took the silver thanks to the PB 75.30, the third place belongs to Richard Olbrich GER 75.18. The winner of qualification Conor McCullough did not repeat the performance and missed a medal (4th place - 74.54).
 
1500 Metres Boys 1st Round
 
Thirty athletes try to qualified to final, all favourites passed thorugh first round. Three fastest were David Bustos ESP 3:51.63, Josphat Mitunga Kithii KEN 3:51.64 a Dawit Wolde ETH 3:52.30. Czech Filip Jalový ran his PB (3:55.76), which was no enought for final.
 
 
Pole Vault Boys Qualification
 
None of pole vaulters jumped over qualification limit (4.85) so all atheltes who jumped over 4.70 goes to final. Also Adam Pašiak, who equalize his PB. The biggest favourite Nico Weiler GER as only one jumped over 4.80m.
 
Discus Throw Boys Qualification
 
The greatest magnet of this event was a start of the unlucky participant of the Shot Put Final, Mykyta Nesterenko. He did not hesitate with his throw of 70.67 m and he won with sovereignty. It looks like it will be a clear victory for him in the Final. The next two were Marin Premeru 58.72 and Gordon Wolf 58.67, as it was assumed. The rest of the field is quite equaled and the order in the final will be the fact of the recent fitness.
 
 
Girls  
 
400 Metres Girls Final
 
A little bit of surprise of Yuliya Baraley UKR 53.57 s. Latoya McDermott JAM 54.12 took the silver and bronze goes to Slovakia thanks to Alexandra Stuková SVK 54.46. The fastest girl of the season Meshawn Graham USA finished six 55.18.
 
1500 Metres Girls Final
 
Six finalists improved their PB. The victory of Sammary Cherotich KEN 4:15.47 was a little bit surprising, because Jordan Hasay USA 4:17.24 had her SB better more than seven seconds better than Sammary. Third Sheila Chepkirui Kiprotich KEN only confirmed the suverenity of Kenyan runners.
 
High Jump Girls Final
 
In numerous field of 15 competitors at least Natalya Mamlina RUS took gold, in WYL (189).
Misha-Gaye Dacosta JAM jumped over 1.84 (silver) and bronze goes to Bulgary by Aleksandrina Klimentinova and Elena Vallortiaga ITA. Dissapionting for German fans is, that Kimberly Jess finished 8th.
 
800 Metres Girls 1st Round
 
No surprises in heats. All favourites goes to 2nd round. Elena Lavric ROM 2:06.47 was the fastest, 2nd Winny Chebet KEN 2:06.86 (PB) and 3rd was Juana Ivis Méndez CUB 2:07.13.
To SF qualified also Anna Yegoryan ARM 2:11.20. She improved her PB more than 5s.
 
Hammer Throw Qualification
 
The best in qualify was defending champion Bianca-Florentina Perie ROM 63.27. So no surprises in qualification.
