Hiroyuki Kubota 21.17 was third (first in third heat). Also Ramil Guliyev AZE, who ran 21.22, could possibly be a threat for Jamaica sprinters (SB 20.67).
400 Metres Hurdles Boys Semi-Final
Both sprinters from USA (William Wynne 50.28, Reginald Wyatt 50.48) surely won their heats, and confirmed the role of the favourites. In the final, the battle between them will find the answer to the question who will be the World junior champion. We can assumed, that both athletes will beat 50 seconds in the final. Probably third can be Amaurys R. Valle CUB 51.04.

Discus Throw Boys Final
Absolutely clear and expected competition. For this time it was without surprises, as we could saw in a Shot Put competition. But probably this disappointment left signs on Mykyta Nesterenko (68.54) because after last throw in discus he was not very satisfied.2nd was Marin Premeru CRO 64.20. Bronze medal is a little bit surprise, Andrius Gudzius LTU 61.59, who improved his PB more than 4metres.
